Mummys' day

I see your shining eyes

as you enter the room

With open arms you come

running towards me

I listen to your sweet voice

telling me funny stories

of what you did today

Your arms around my neck

Then suddenly you stop

With your face close to mine

you look into my eyes

"mummy, how was your day?"

So, then I realize

that all I did today

was to sit and wait for you

to share your little stories
